Unit Assesment

Your will complete a regents-based assessment on nationalist and decolonization movements at the end of the unit. The assessment iwill be done on Quizizz, and ncludes 15 multiple-choice questions and 5 constructed response questions covering the four independence movements studied.

Assignment Overview

What You Will Do

You will take a test about how countries gained freedom from other countries that ruled them. This test will be on a website called Quizizz.

What’s on the Test

The test has:

• 15 multiple-choice questions (pick the right answer)

• 5 written questions (write your own answers)

All questions are about the four independence movements we studied.

How to Get Ready

1. Look at the Vocabulary Study Packet to learn important words

2. Take the Practice Quiz in Google Classroom to see what the real test will be like

3. If you’ve never used Quizizz before, check out the tutorial that shows how it works

Study Tips

• Review your notes about each independence movement

• Practice answering questions about how and why countries fought for freedom

• Remember important people who led these movements

• Think about how gaining independence changed these countries
