In this unit, we will learn about four important movements where people fought to be free from other countries that controlled them. These movements happened in:
India
Different parts of Africa
Israel and Arab countries
China
You will watch eight short videos on EdPuzzle. These videos will tell you about these four movements. While watching, you’ll answer questions that will help you understand what happened.
After watching the videos, you will fill out a Venn diagram. This is a chart with overlapping circles that helps you compare things. You will:
Pick two of the four movements to compare
Write down things that were the same about both movements
Write down things that were different or special about each one
Think about which movement you found most interesting. You’ll get to study this one more later when we make presentations.
Take notes while watching the videos
